For the gentleman who constantly crisscrosses the globe, with friends and colleagues scattered over continents, Tudor presents a travel-friendly new functionality for the Black Bay range—a multiple time-zone complication, also known as the GMT function which establishes local time without losing sight of time in two other zones.
Immediately recognizable by a rotating bezel rendered in matte midnight blue and burgundy, the two supplementary time zones are apparent by a red snowflake hand—a brand signature. The daytime hours are printed on the red side, while nighttime is denoted on the blue side. The dial is black with a GMT marker at 6.00, and visible at night courtesy of luminescent markers.
A cutting edge new Manufacture Calibre with the reference MT5652 has been developed by Tudor for the Black Bay GMT model. Created for longevity and reliability, its inertia balance, which is maintained by a sturdy traversing bridge with a two-point fixation and a non-magnetic silicon balance spring, allow it to be certified as a chronometer by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). It also possesses a 70-hour reserve and is waterproof to a depth of 200 meters.
An ideal fusion of timeless aesthetics and innovative watchmaking, the Tudor Black Bay GMT unites over 60 years of the best of the brand’s diving timepieces, while remaining laser focused on the most contemporary technology. A must for the purist collector.
